Everything that comes through in a reading is soul-to-soul communication in truth and love. This is very different than the information and help we get from friends, family and even people trained to help us like life coaches, therapists and doctors.  The difference is that the information that comes through in a reading comes directly to you, unfiltered, uncluttered, unbiased and clear from your Loved Ones.  Our Loved Ones in Spirit are in the unique position of having a completely different vantage point from which to view their lives, their relationships and their choices in life. They have gone through the most feared of all life experiences – death – and are now in awareness that we are all eternal beings engaged in physical lifetimes in order to grow our souls. Your Loved Ones in Spirit can now see you, your life and choices from the perspective of the larger picture – the birds-eye view. This is what Loved Ones do in readings – they come through to speak truth to your soul to bring the highest healing and growth to all.

The vibration factor

Readings are also communication through energetic vibration and frequency – this is non-verbal energy that connects the client to me and to spirit during a reading. In a reading, my energy serves as the conducting link between my client and Spirit. Through our connection on the phone or in person, my contact with my client’s energy raises their energy to connect them directly with Spirit. In this way I act not so much as a translator but as an electrical conductor– connecting two different energies and frequencies through my own. In the process of doing this, my client’s energy is raised higher in order to receive the communication from Spirit and this energy allows room for my client’s soul to grow. In this way, readings are healings because they create the energetic space for my client’s energy to rise to a higher vibration, which is part of soul growth and evolution.

As our soul grows and we release barriers in our minds and bodies that disconnect us from our Spirits within, our energy grows larger and raises it’s vibration and our souls can move up into consciousness.  This is the key to soul growth. Mediumship readings can be powerful opportunities for soul growth – for the client and for their Loved Ones in Spirit.

The REAL value of a reading

Readings are about so much more than just knowing your loved ones are still with you. They are soul to soul communication. This is powerful. This is a direct pathway to soul level healing and growth.

In readings I connect directly with your deceased loved ones  - the people now deceased who play significant roles in your soul development. Your deceased loved ones are important in your soul development because you have soul contracts with them. It is through these soul contracts that you experience certain dynamics, challenges, events and circumstances in order for you BOTH to gain soul experience and growth.

You and your loved ones incarnate into this life together in the specific relationship you have in order for both of you to learn and grow your souls.  These soul contract relationships are not always easy. Often, they offer the most challenges and opportunities for deep learning and growth..

Readings offer healings to the living and the dead.

Spirits are all at different level of soul growth, as are those of us still living. Just because a person dies and goes to the Sprit Realm doesn't mean they are completely enlightened. This might be a surprise to many, but the truth is soul growth continues after death. Once our loved ones pass through the transition of death and exist in a state of love and energy on the Other Side, they are able to see their physical lives very differently than they did while here on Earth with us. They gain new insight into their relationships, their choices, and the roles they played in other people’s lives from the perspective of soul growth. Our deceased loved ones become aware of the larger soul group they are a part of and what their role was in their soul group. They can see their relationships with their friends and families from a soul growth perspective. They confront their successes and their failures and they gain new awareness of the purpose of each.

Readings are an opportunity for deceased people to connect with their loved ones still alive and say the things they were unable to say in life.

Every reading offers your loved ones the opportunity to take responsibility for their actions; to apologize, encourage, reassure, guide and assist the ones they love still here in physical life. Readings create the opportunity for every soul in the soul group to evolve.

Readings help the living

Readings create an opportunity for us here in physical life to gain new perspective too. The connection and communication with our deceased Loved Ones sheds new light on our lives and relationships and we can begin to see everything in our lives from a soul growth perspective as well. We can gain newfound understanding and appreciation for the people we love, the choices we make and make wise and guided choices for the trajectory of our lives.

Readings offer us the priceless gift of living our lives through the eyes of our souls. When we do this, we can value every experience and relationship as sacred expressions of the truth that love never dies.

Forgiveness...One step farther

When we are holding onto an event, a hurt or an offense that someone has done to us we are literally doing just that - holding onto it. Since every thought is energy, when you don’t release a thought and you choose to remember it, relive it you are literally recreating it over and over again. When we do this we create and recreate an energetic picture; a vibration that exists. This energy exists in you and it exists in the universe.  We are connected energetically to every person we have relationships with and our feelings and thoughts can be received by each person we are connected to.

In other words, don’t think the other person is not aware of what you are holding on to – even if you have never voiced it out loud.

 When we hold on to a specific picture of how we view someone, we are constantly reinforcing that idea energetically to that person and to ourselves.

When we forgive someone, it means we release that picture. We let it dissolve. We send love to it and it dissapears. We have just created room for that person to show up to us in a different way.

When we release our expectations and release the hurts done in the past, we are energetically helping that person not be locked into old modes of behavoir with us. When we release our hurts and ideas of them, we forgive them. There is now clarity and light where there used to be shadow and fear. This literally clears the energetic space between us and we can now move forward without constantly reinforcing old ideas of who we are to each other! We can now grow and expand together.

When we do this, when we forgive and release old pictures of others and of ourselves, we heal INSTANTLY.

I did this with my own father. After not speaking to him for about 20 years, I decided to reach out to him after the death my brother. The profound loss and grief we were both in became an amazing lesson for us: there was no way either of us wanted to continue on the path of holding onto hurt and resentment with each other and eventually having to suffer an other unbearable loss riddled with thoughts of unsaid aplogies and expressions of love. We both had unresolved relationships with my brother and neither of us ever wanted to experience that pain again.

So, we did it. We forgave each other. And can I tell you? It is one of the true acts of love I have experienced in my life and it transformed me. Such is the power of love.

I see this happen in readings all the time. When we open our hearts to each other and forgive, we all heal. Together.

Soul Contracts

I will be talking a lot about soul contracts. That’s because they are at the heart of what I do with Spirit. In fact, I have found they are at the core of our experience in this life. Let me talk first about what they are.

Soul contracts are agreements made between you and another soul or group of souls. These agreements are made before a physical incarnation, when you are in your true form as energy in the Spirit realm. Soul contracts can exist in almost any kind of relationship – friends, family, employers and employees, even owners and pets.

Soul groups consist of souls that have connected contracts together. For example, our families are soul groups – each member coming into this physical incarnation to enact certain relationships, situations, circumstances and events that serve to grow each participating soul.

Soul contracts are hard to run from – they affect our lives deeply, some from the very beginning. This is by design. Soul contracts are at the core of your experience here on Earth – it is through relationships that we learn the most about ourselves.  Your most significant and challenging relationships can present the very things you soul is seeking to experience in order to grow. Confronting the challenges presented by our soul contract relationships and healing them can be keys to unlocking your soul purpose and path in this lifetime.
